Avalon RV Resort is a campground located just off US 19 in Clearwater, Florida. The sites are a little tight, but the price is great for the amenities offered: water, 50A, and sewer. The grounds are grassy, but not always level. The manager is working hard to get the park back to the condition it once was, and the bathrooms and showers are always spotless. There is a large clubhouse with lots of activities over the winter season, and a small pool. Nearby walking and biking parks offer the chance to see alligators and other Florida wildlife. Free internet is only accessible at the office area, and Texas holdem poker is available a couple nights a week.
