Lake Magic RV Resort is a campground located just 14 miles south of downtown Clermont, Florida, at the intersection of FL 27 and 192. It is close to major attractions such as Disney World, which is just 6 miles away, and also to supermarkets, restaurants, and shopping. The resort has two large pools, a clubhouse, a community room, a lakefront area, and a recently-installed kids play area. There is WiFi available for purchase, but speeds can be slow. The park is well-maintained and clean, and there is lakeside access beside one pool. However, there are some issues with the resort, such as tree roots above ground making it tricky to walk, weeds taking over the whole parameter, and bathrooms that are not vented and painted with unpleasant colors. There are activities to participate in, such as water aerobic classes, and there is a small beach area on the lake behind the clubhouse, though no swimming is allowed. The resort also offers a six-month winter special, but requires a background check. There is a laundry facility onsite, but it is managed by an outside vendor and the machines are older. There is limited cable channels, no shade, and Passport America only on the gravel sites.
