The campground is close to the highway, and there are trains that go by frequently. The 50 amp power was inconsistent and the water was nasty. The pool was closed the entire time and in need of repair. The lady in the office was really nice, however the owner (100 yrs old) was useless. Overall, the Clewiston / Lake Okechobee RV park is a run down campground with limited amenities. The park is situated in a rural setting, bordering a cow field, and is close to loud train tracks and the highway. There is free WiFi, however it is unreliable and not suitable for streaming. The sites are grassy with lots of trees but have poor drainage. There are no local amenities and the campground manager was found to be using offensive language. The restrooms and showers are not dirty, but lack a fresh clean feel. The 50 amp power is inconsistent and the water is nasty. The pool is closed and in need of repair.
