Quail Roost is a great campground located near Crystal River, Florida, with easy access to the turnpike. It is a great place to winter over and is a quiet and friendly place with large sites on the 50 amp side. The park has a lack of bugs and spotless restrooms, and the staff are always available and cheerful. There is no cell phone signal, however, and the cable service and internet signal are inadequate. There is a community center and a beautiful pool, but no kids activities or playground facilities. There is a nice rail trail for biking about 10 miles away and an RV store and repair facility across the street with a small restaurant and grocery close by. Clean showers are available, but the noise level may be an issue for those looking for an overnight stay.
