This KOA campground is located south of Orlando in Ocala, Florida, and is a great jumping off point for attractions in the area. The sites are tightly packed together and the maintenance of the spots is very poorly taken care of. The campground is undergoing major renovations, but currently the roads are very tight and the electrical pedestal has no breaker. The pool area is nice, but the pond in the middle of the campground is a cess pool. The laundry room is not functioning and there is no bar or Saturday pancakes. Visitors must register and pay a fee, and the elderly blonde lady at the front desk is not friendly or helpful. The campground allows for RV storage and is approximately 30 minutes to Miami International Airport. Some of the sites have a concrete pad with outdoor furniture and a grassy area for the camper. The park itself is not very appealing, but the owner has plans to fix it up. There is a dog park with a large area for dogs to run around in. The campground is close to shopping, restaurants, and Cleveland Clinic hospital. The WiFi is slow and there is constant noise from takeoffs and landings from the Fort Lauderdale Airport.
