What others are saying about this campground
This campground is located between a large power plant and I-4, making it quite noisy during the day. The sites are level and have water, electric, a fire ring, and a charcoal grille. The staff are friendly and informative and the bathrooms are clean. There is a 26 mile bike/walking trail that leads off the park to Blue Springs Park, making it a great spot for those who want to enjoy the outdoors. The campground also has a boat launch and fishing area, as well as a playground and picnic shelters. The campground is close to the small town of Sanford, which has a historic downtown and nice restaurants. The price of the campground is a bit high, but it is still a great spot for those who want to explore the area.
