Henderson Beach State Park is the perfect destination for a relaxing and enjoyable camping experience. With friendly staff, well-maintained grounds, and a variety of amenities, youll find everything you need for a great vacation. The park features spacious, private sites with gravel pads, picnic tables, fire rings, and access to water and electric hookups. Youll also find a clothes line and a dog park nearby. The park is centrally located in Destin, just off the main highway, and is within easy driving distance to shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. The beach is close enough to enjoy, but far enough away to feel isolated among the dunes and coastal scrub habitats. At night, the sound of the ocean is louder than the traffic. Wi-Fi is available from some sites close to the restroom/shower facilities. The park is also great for RVers, with wide, long pull-through sites and great Verizon coverage and open sky for satellite.

Florida State Parks offer a variety of camping options throughout the state, including full-facility campsites for tent campers and RVers, cabins, primitive camping, equestrian camping, and developed group camps. Five state parks also provide boat slips with water and electricity. Amenities vary by park and range from centralized showers, restrooms, and dump stations to paddock or stable facilities and restrooms with showers. Visitors can make reservations up to 11 months in advance by calling toll-free 1-800-326-3521 or TDD 888-433-0287 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Eastern time or by going online. Discounts may be available.
