Rainbow River Campground is a beautiful and well-maintained campground located near the Rainbow River in Florida. It offers large, private sites with hard-packed sand and gravel, picnic tables, fire rings, hang poles, and 20/30/50 amp electric hook-ups. The campground also has a store, rec room with TV and game tables, and brand new bathrooms with roomy showers and modern facilities. Kayaking and tubing are popular activities here, with a rubber matted ramp for easy in and out of the river and a tube shuttle/tram service available from April to September. There is also a nature trail for walking and a trolley paved side road to the parks tubing center. The Rainbow Springs Headsprings Day Use Area is 7 miles away, and offers a restaurant, store, walking paths, and rental kayaks and canoes. The campground is a great value and is well-maintained with courteous staff, although Verizon cell service and bike riding availability may be limited.

The park features sapphire-blue waters, ornamental gardens, constructed waterfalls, and sloping hills. Visitors can take a walk through lush, mossy hammocks and then cool off in the springs. The park offers a variety of amenities and activities, including camping, fishing, hiking, paddling, picnicking, snorkeling, swimming, tubing, and wildlife viewing.
