Wilderness Camping in Everglades National Park requires a permit, which can be obtained through Recreation.gov. Most wilderness campsites are only accessible by water, so visitors should plan accordingly. The park has a $21 administrative fee plus an additional $2 per person, per night use fee. Visitors should practice Leave No Trace principles and bring all necessary supplies, including waste disposal. Feeding wildlife is prohibited. There is a limit of 30 days of camping in the park per calendar year, with no more than 14 consecutive days during the period from November 1 through April 30.
