Fort Myers Beach RV Resort in Fort Myers, FL recently reopened after extensive damage from Hurricane Ian in September 2022. The campground is still recovering, but the staff are friendly and helpful. It is located close to the beaches. While the gravel is new and electrical hookups appear to have been replaced, the sites are quite tight. Some campers on site look like they have been abandoned and there are some permanent campsites that could use maintenance. The pool and fitness room are open, however the dog park is not very well kept. Internet and cable are available. There was a $20 per night extra fee from Thousand Trails, which some visitors found unjustified. While this campground may not be worth it for some, it is open and functional.
