This campground is located across the road from Indian River Lagoon and offers a 125 ft long private dock with picnic table, benches, pole holders and some moorage. It is a small park that is trying to stay alive with some long term and Winter Snowbirds since Summer transient and Rally traffic has declined. It is a great base camp for the Cocoa Beach and Melbourne areas. The grassy pull thru sites are level and wide with concrete patios and drain well during heavy rainstorms. The clubhouse offers fresh coffee in the morning and hot water all day. There is an airport approximately a mile away and these planes fly all day long right over the park. There is also a railway line that runs 200 feet behind the park, but the noise is not a problem with natural barriers. The park manager is a full time resident and offers a free cooking lesson and wine tasting, and invitation to play bridge.
