This campground is a great spot for an overnight stay or a short-term stay. It is located close to 3 National Parks and is centrally located to explore Miami and the beach cities, as well as Key West. The site is a large grassy area with ancient utilities, a broken concrete pad with an old picnic table, and a separate paved parking spot for the car. The roads are narrow and can be confusing, as they all have the same name. The hookups are good, but there is no cable or WiFi, no picnic table, fire pit, or grill. The staff is friendly and security guards are present, although there have been reports of petty theft. There are plenty of activities available, such as line dancing, water exercise, art lessons, and pot lucks. Cancellations require 30 days notice.
