On the downside, there are no picnic tables, and the sand sites are not paved, which is typical for Florida, but the ruts in some sandy spots can make it challenging to park. However, with a little shoveling and adding boards to put the camper on, you can get in using 4WD. The water can be yellow and smell bad, but this can be fixed by purchasing a filter. Despite the minor inconveniences, this park provides a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere that attracts many seasonal residents.
