Facilities include water, electric, and sewer hookups, a pool, basketball court and swing set for the kids, and a rec room. There is no shade from the hot Florida sun, so umbrellas are a must. Wifi is available, but not free, and there is road noise from the nearby Florida Turnpike. The staff was not very friendly and the sites are narrow and too close to neighbors. Other reviews have mentioned the highway noise, but some have stayed here due to convenience and the reasonable price. The staff is willing to help, though there have been some miscommunications. Cable hookup also comes with an additional fee.

Ponderosa RV Park is a 200 RV site resort located in the heart of Central Florida. There are 20, 30, and 50 amp sites available with both concrete patios and paved sites. The park is located off Hwy 192 on Fortune Road in Kissimmee, directly across from the new Osceola Heritage Park which has the world famous Silver Spurs Rodeo arena. The park is also only minutes away from all area attractions, including Walt Disney World, Sea World, and Universal Studios.
