This campground is a great spot for a family vacation. It is well maintained and offers plenty of room for rigs on a paver driveway and a picnic table. The park is well shaded and has two sections, one shaded and one open. The pool is clean and the park is quiet at night, minus the airboats that go down the river. There are 30 and 50 amp hookups, water, and septic hookups available. There is a massive oak tree at site 279 with a large branch hanging over the pad, which can be difficult to avoid when arriving after sunset. The local store and bar/restaurant offer great food and service. The park also holds fishing tournaments which are interesting to watch. It is located 10 miles in off Rt 60 on a paved road. The only downside is that they lost/misplaced mail for two days. Cell phones and internet air cards work fine.
