From the moment we arrived, the warmth and friendliness of everyone, including the host Thomas and the owners Paul and Tony, made us feel right at home. The children were absolutely enchanted, spending their time playing with baby goats and marveling at the free-range cattle that roam the entire property. The attention to detail here is remarkable. Newly constructed showers and restrooms ensure comfort, while the RV and camping sites offer serene views of water and nature, shaded by huge Cypress trees. Its evident that theres a vision to transform Wilderness Shores into a signature destination, and its well on its way there. With over 700 acres of hiking trails, abundant wildlife, fishing opportunities, and engaging activities like cattle runs and gator searches, this place is a paradise for those seeking tranquility and adventure alike. Our experience was nothing short of fantastic. Whether youre RVing with all the amenities like water and electric hookups or looking for a quiet spot to tent under the stars, viewers rave that Wilderness Shores offers an unforgettable escape. Viewers were also impressed with their general store, stocked with unique finds and local crafts. This isnt just a campground; its a vibrant, living community where nature meets comfort. We left with hearts full of memories and a promise to ourselves to return. For anyone looking for a slice of paradise in Lakeland, this place is a must-visit.
