Blue Springs State Park is a beautiful and well-maintained park located in Marianna, Florida. The park was hit hard by Hurricane Michael a few years ago, but has since been rebuilt and offers spacious back-in sites with gravel pads, picnic tables, grills, fire pits, and clotheslines. The park also offers a variety of outdoor activities, such as hiking trails, kayaking, biking, and a cavern tour. The campground itself is situated in a dense wooded area and offers large, shaded sites with fire rings, picnic tables, and lantern poles. The roads are paved, but they are narrow and have 4-5 inch drop offs, so caution should be taken when driving. The park also has a swimming area, a swimming spring, and a laundry facility. Verizon 4g is spotty, so streaming services are not recommended. Be sure to bring plenty of insect repellent, as there are a lot of mosquitos in the warmer months. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the park is open to evacuees of Florida for free.

Florida Caverns State Park offers visitors a chance to explore stunning caves and observe the many chisel marks made by 1930s-era Civilian Conservation Corps workers. The park has a 38-site campground for both recreational vehicles and tents. Visitors can take a guided cave tour and experience the wonder of a unique underground limestone cave system. The park also offers biking, boating, paddling, picnicking, swimming, and walking and running.
