This campground is a great option for RV groups looking for a peaceful country setting. It is located in a large grassy clearing surrounded by woods, with gravel roads and 22 full hookup sites. It is a church camp of sorts, but it appears to be the off season, so there are only a few longtimers and two of us overnighters. There is no office or camp host to check in with; all contact is via phone, and there is a self check-in at the clubhouse, which has a kitchen/tables and a rate sheet posted. There is also a sliding scale for each additional night stayed. On the weekends, there is live country music (sometimes with name entertainers) and great food. Unfortunately, the clubhouse is not for guests, but for church members and services only. It takes days for the campground owner to return a phone call. It is $300 a week or $1000 a month, non refundable if you have to leave early. It is quite a drive back into Pace for shopping, so take what you need before you go.
