This campground is located in a peaceful rural setting along a river. It is a great place to meet friendly people, enjoy lots of activities, and attend the Swamp Cabbage Festival. The on-site manager is great and the camp rules keep things orderly. The nightly rate is based on the monthly charge, and the bath house is clean with hot water. There are good restaurants and a Walmart Super Center nearby in Labelle. Unfortunately, the campground lacks true maintenance and the grounds need a caretaker that cares. The owner needs to put in some serious money to upgrade the park, but if they continue this progress, in a couple more years it will be a much nicer park. Maneuvering the turns on the streets is difficult and many sites are tight to back into. Despite this, it is a great place to stay for a peaceful and quiet getaway.
