Royal Coachman RV Resort in Nokomis, FL is a beautiful campground with top-notch amenities and friendly, hard-working staff. While it may not be big rig-friendly and some RV spots are less desirable, there are plenty of fun activities for people of all interests. It is conveniently located close to the beach, the Legacy Trail bike path, and a cute downtown with a farmers market on Saturdays year-round. There are activities year-round, including outdoor sports, exercise classes, card games, concerts, dances, bingo, and more. The tennis club is a highlight, with 4 dedicated courts and options for players of all skill levels. The tennis season runs from October to April, with plenty of scheduled tennis, inter-park matches with neighboring parks, ladies and mixed round robins, senior games tennis, and social events. The clubhouse also has a woodshop and glass art shop. While there are sometimes thefts of bikes, this is unfortunately true of the area and is not unique to the campground.
