It has a nice pool, hot tub, and a fenced in dog park. The sites are mostly level, with concrete patios, and some are right on the river. They have a great clubhouse with lots of activities. This RV campground is located in between Venice and North Port in South Florida. Its sites have concrete patios and back up to a marsh with a lot of birds and wildlife. It offers a pool, laundry, fenced dog area, and WiFi (for an extra fee) with solid Verizon cell service. The park hosts various functions such as fish fries, pancake breakfast, taco night, and music on a little island. It is also close to many spring training facilities. However, some of the interior sites are more cramped, especially towards the back, and there is traffic noise from the nearby US41. The wifi and cable are both extra fees, though the staff are friendly and helpful. The park has done a lot of renovations since three years ago, and now offers a nice pool, hot tub, and a fenced in dog park.

Welcome to Myakka River RV Resort. Myakka River RV Resort is your home for a great Florida vacation! Our RV Park, located directly on the Myakka River. It features river front and nature preserve sites, full hook-up with 30 and 50-amp service available. Our River Resort is truly "Big Rig Friendly"! All of our sites are full hookups and come complete with patio slabs and picnic tables. Wi-Fi high-speed internet access is available throughout the park, as well as 48-channel Cable TV for a fee.
