Mitchell Landing Campground is a primitive camping site located in Big Cypress National Preserve. The campground offers 11 sites with no water, but vault toilets are available. Access to the campground is along a secondary gravel road. The maximum length of stay is 10 days from January 01 through April 15, and 14 days from May 01 through December 31. The RV/Tent site fee is $24 per night, but seniors or those with an Access Pass can get a discounted rate of $12 per night. Reservations can be made through www.recreation.gov. Visitors are asked to abide by campground regulations for their safety and enjoyment, and to protect the national preserve resources.
