Brighton RV Resort in Okeechobee, FL has nicely spaced sites. Although there is no security gate, Seminole police patrol the area frequently. The bathhouse is generally very clean during the week, but it is not cleaned on weekends. The Park laundromat has 5 washers and 5 dryers priced at $2 each. If you need change, the office sells quarters. The park provides WIFI, but we did not connect. T-Mobile has 4 bars. The park offers over 65 and veteran discounts. There is a security code for bathhouse entry. The majority of the campsites and cabins will be occupied by construction workers for a new casino being built beginning Summer 2023. There were several problems during our stay. We were told that upon check-in, we would receive a pre-arrival text and our documents would be left at the campground sign, but they were unreadable due to rain. One of our breakers overheated and tripped three times during our seven-night stay. There was no mention of needing to bring your own fire ring until we arrived, and we were not told that the park does not provide picnic tables until we arrived at our site. When we reported that there was no table provided, we received many excuses and no indication of when to expect a table.

Brighton RV Resort is located on the Seminole Brighton Reservation, near Lake Okeechobee, offering visitors a real taste of “Old Florida,” complete with some of the best bass fishing in the Sunshine State. Enjoy a variety of services and activities that will make your stay at Brighton RV Resort an experience to remember. Brighton RV Resort and all of their amenities are OPEN year round. While visiting, take advantage of the close proximity to the Everglades, some of the Florida’s most beautiful beaches and various Orlando and Tampa theme parks and attractions — all just a day trip away. Headed to Brighton Seminole Casino? Even better, it is just 3 miles from the RV resort, and casino patrons can use their Players Club cards to pay for their stay, gas or items at the Trading Post. We are premier location to have the ultimate Lake Okeechobee experience, with plenty of boat parking. The lake is relatively shallow and has an average depth of nine feet. Water flows into Lake Okeechobee from several sources, including the Kissimmee River, Fisheating Creek, Lake Istokpoga, Taylor Creek, and smaller sources such as Nubbin Slough and Nicodemus Slough.
