Suwannee River Hideaway Campground in Old Town, FL is a quiet and peaceful RV park with grass and dirt sites that are reasonably sized and relatively level. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The park offers full hookups, including 50-amp power, water, sewer, cable, and Wifi. The bathhouse is a bit dated, but clean with plenty of hot water. There is an 800-foot boardwalk that takes you straight to the Suwannee River, and you can walk along the river bank, enjoying the peaceful and tranquil surroundings. The clubhouse is well-kept, and there are some scheduled activities throughout the week. The road leading into the park is approximately 1/2 mile off the road. The park is close to several Florida State Parks, including Manatee Springs, making it a great location for those who love outdoor activities. Overall, this is a lovely and private RV park, perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Suwannee River Hideaway Campground is an 'Old Florida' style park with all of the amenities of a premier park. The campground is known for its 1,500 foot boardwalk through the natural wetlands to the historic Suwannee River where you then have access to 2,000 feet of river side to fish, enjoy the beautiful views, sit and relax, or take a stroll along the river's edge on the trail that leads to 'Jim's Place' where you can rest, relax, or picnic beside the spring fed creek where it joins the river. Take time to explore the amazing variety of plants, trees, and wildlife. The reviews show that the campground is known as being the quietest and most peaceful park in the area as it is surrounded by state protected land. The campground is in the perfect location for fishing, bird watching, hiking, biking, boating, visiting local natural springs, and most of all, getting away from it all and just relaxing.
