The park is right on the lake and you can swim in it, but no campfires allowed. There is a petting zoo, a playground, a disc golf course, a pool (closed when we were there), and a bike path. The sites are very close together, but the park is very well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The park is close to Universal, IKEA, Walmart, Publix, and Home Depot. The only negative is that the spots are not level and it can be difficult to get a spot without a lot of advance planning. This campground is a great destination for those looking for a peaceful getaway close to Orlandos attractions. Located at the back of a park on the edge of a lake, the campground offers plenty of recreational activities, including boating, fishing, biking, hiking, frisbee golf, wildlife watching, jungle gyms, horse boarding, grilling spots, and a swimming pool (seasonal). The sites are spacious, with full hookups (water and power near the lake) and plenty of shade from mature oak trees and pines. The facilities are well maintained and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The park also features a petting zoo, a playground, a disc golf course, a bike path, and a fishing pier. Campfires are not allowed, but there is a free laundry facility on site. The road through the campground is narrow, but big rigs can make it through if careful. The only downside is that the spots are not level and it can be difficult to get a spot without a lot of advance planning.
