This campground is located on a lake and is close to I-10, Pensacola, and the Naval Air Museum. It is a smaller park with half of the sites backing onto the lake. The new owners have made many improvements and have plans for more. The park is a great place to fish, with many bass and bream being caught. Unfortunately, the Navy Federal Credit Union is located nearby and can cause traffic backups. The two people running the park are not great and the lady has a foul mouth. The park is also crowded with permanent folks and not the best deal for the price. However, it is a nice, clean, and quiet park and is a great place to use as a base camp when visiting relatives. Satellite TV friendly sites and Sprint data cards are available.
