What others are saying about this campground

The sites are very close together, with no privacy. The campground is in a rough part of town, and there is no gate upon entrance. There are no amenities for kids or pets, but plenty of people drinking at the bar. The roads are narrow, making it difficult to maneuver a big rig. The staff is rude, and the manager is unhelpful. There are no coins accepted for the laundry, and the noise from the trains is loud all night. Ants are a problem, and the sites are in very bad repair with bags of garbage laying around. The bodega behind the campground is selling something other than groceries, and the noise is very loud until the small hours. It is not a safe or secure place to stay.

From The Campground

Highland Woods RV Resort is an older campground with very narrow sites. The check-in is at the Breezy Hill office. Sewer connections are beneath the RV and water and electric connections are on the opposite side of normal RV hook-up connections. The sites are very tight. Storage trailers are not allowed. There are two trains located near the resort that run often. Pets are allowed with a maximum of 2 pets and no aggressive breeds. Highland Woods is an age qualified resort (55+) and does not allow reservations with children.
