Ja-Mar Campground is a suburban park located off of US 19 with poor signage. The sites are extremely tight and the interior roads are narrow, making it difficult to get a 40 ft. motorhome and tow vehicle on one site. There are only two bath houses in the entire park, each with one toilet and one shower. The laundry room could be cleaner, but the gas dryers are great. The clubhouse is very nice with a newly renovated kitchen. There are lots of activities available, such as golf, bingo, pool, pickleball, and shuffleboard. There is a great french toast breakfast for $2.00. Unfortunately, there are lots of Canadians that dont speak English and the sites are so close that you can hear your neighbor snore at night.

Ja-Mar RV Resorts is a family-owned and operated campground that offers a multitude of activities such as potlucks, dances, cards, billiards, crafts, live entertainment, shuffleboard, or lounging in elegant comfort around the pool. The park offers state-of-the-art kitchens, recreational halls, heated pools, beautiful pavilion and picnic areas, shuffleboard courts, pickleball courts, horseshoes areas, restroom & shower facilities, laundry facilities, fire pits, and more! The location is close to many fine restaurants, shopping malls, Gulf beaches, and medical aid is readily available with doctors, specialists, and fine hospitals. The park hosts 10-12 activities per day during the season, including water aerobics, bridge, quilting, pokeno, and pizza parties. The weather at Ja-Mar RV resorts is mostly sunny, with temperatures in the 70’s during the daytime hours in winter and ranging between 80-95 degrees in summer. The park rates are affordable for both seasonal and vacationing guests. The Miller family, who owns and operates the parks, are always available to help you with whatever you may need.
