Thousand Trails is a great campground for those who live and travel in their campers year round. It offers level sites with concrete pads for patios, easy hook-ups, picnic tables, and activities. There is a wonderful recreation center with a take-one, leave-one library, fitness equipment, and pool tables. The park is conveniently located near Punta Gorda Fishermans Village and Harborwalk area, and is close to Home Depot, Publix Grocery, Walmart, and Walgreens. There is a small area devoted to dog walking and the pool, hot tub, spa, clubhouse, restrooms, laundry, and showers are all sparkling clean. Monday through Friday the park maintenance people pick up your garbage at the curb. However, the downside is that the sites are located right up against a busy street, so traffic noise during the day can be terrible. During the winter season, there are tons of activities to be involved in and make life long memories.
