This campground is a great place for those looking for a quiet and relaxing stay. The sites are long and wide, with plenty of room for parking a car alongside. The north area of the park is more crowded, with narrow roads and smaller sites. The grass sites can be a bit tricky, as the leveling jacks sink into the ground instead of lifting the RV. There is a large grassy area on the east end of the park for walking dogs, as well as a large fenced dog park. The park is close to the Punta Gorda Airport, so there are occasional takeoffs, but it is still relatively quiet. The staff is friendly and there are plenty of planned activities and good security. There is a small clubhouse with activities such as pancake breakfasts, pot lucks, crafts, movies, bingo, and socials. Most guests are retirees, but there are several dozen unsold spaces available to transients.
