This campground is located in a quiet, rural area close to I-75 and is a mix of permanent modular homes and RV spaces. It is a popular destination for snowbirds in the winter, and is usually sold out. It has many amenities, such as horseshoes, shuffleboard, a large pool with hot tub, two activity rooms, a fishing dock, and a nature trail. The RV spots are grassy with concrete pads, but the sites are quite close together and there are no picnic tables. The park has supposedly wifi, but it is unreliable and difficult to connect. The water pressure at the sites is also quite low. The park is located close to Tampa, Sarasota, Johns Pass, and Punta Gorda, making it a great base for day trips. However, it is a long drive to the nearest grocery store or Walmart.
