Wilderness RV Resorts is a great place for a camping experience. It offers a wide variety of amenities, including a restaurant, candy shop, fitness center, laundry facilities, propane filling, walking trails, dog parks, three pools, a rec room with pool, ping pong, and darts, a lodge with TV, seating, tables, and lots of games, puzzles, and books, and canoe and boat rentals. The Preserve Estates section of the resort offers long RV pads and paver patios with wrought iron tables and chairs, as well as friendly neighbors. There is some road noise from the Oklawaha bridge on Hwy 40, but it usually settles down around 10 pm. The park is dark enough for stargazing on moonless nights. The ground is soft and wet, so it is difficult to walk your dogs without getting muddy. The park has strict requirements to pick up after pets, but there is still a lot of waste in the grassy areas.
