What others are saying about this campground
The campground is situated on two and a half miles of Lake Seminole shoreline, so it is great for fishing, canoeing, and motor boats. Sites are a little tight and few are on water but the atmosphere and hospitality by far makes up for it. The entry roads are rough, but passable going slow, with one or two minor spots. There are tons of birds at this site, and they make an amazing sound first thing in the morning and eight at dusk. The nearby town of Sneads has a small grocery store and other amenities. There is a small fishing pier and they rent kayaks and canoes, also has a boat ramp. The park has many hiking/biking trails along with boat ramps for the lake. There is a keypad but you dont get a code since you missed registration time. The campground is pet friendly, and very quiet at night. The sites are water and electric, the bathrooms are in great shape, nice hot showers! This is a great location away from highway with a nice lake view and starry nights. Its about 20 minutes off the interstate and is pretty secluded but had good Verizon coverage.
