Hickory Point RV Park is a tight-spaced campground located on a river in Tarpon Springs, FL. The sites can be tight for larger vehicles, but once situated, the campground is lovely with beautiful landscaping and plenty of overhead trees for those with satellites. The waterfront location has chairs and a firepit for enjoying sunsets over the marsh. There is a great dog run, though it is all sand and dirt. The bathroom and showers are clean, and the washer/dryer area is well kept. Water pressure and Wi-Fi are both great, and the people in the park are very friendly. The management provides great hospitality, with doughnut or pancake days, a New Years dinner, and other nightly events around the fire. The trees may produce loud noises with falling acorns, which can be startling over time. Some campers have experienced torn awnings due to the close proximity of trees; thus, caution is recommended. While the billing process could be challenging, the friendly staff ultimately resolved the billing issue. Overall, this is a very pretty and quiet campground that is recommended for those who value natural beauty and peaceful surroundings.
