Otter Springs Park and Campground in Trenton, FL is an excellent park with well-spaced sites and easy access to hookups. Verizon coverage is excellent too. This park is known for its clear springs that run into the Suwannee River and its serene and quiet woods. The hiking trails are great with two of the trails leading down to the Suwannee River. You might even see deer running through the woods and an occasional raccoon might poke its head out. The bike rides to Old Town and Trenton are really neat with a chance to see the old rail bridge and take some nice photos. Heading north and southwest, you can ride your bikes to Hart Springs and Fanning Springs, respectively. CG has a big square field at the back, 9/10th of a mile around, and great for dog walking. Kayaking out of the spring to the Suwannee river is also a must-do activity with a beautiful paddle and many different water birds. The pool is well-maintained, and the staff is very friendly. Though the road in is a bit rough, and the restrooms could be updated, this is still a great place to camp and relax.
