Florida SKP Resort in Wauchula is a 55+ Escapees Co-op park where you can camp in the overflow area for up to 10 days. Their friendly and helpful staff make sure you have a great experience during your stay. The laundry room is equipped with washers that cost $1.25 as well as dryers that cost $1.00. If you prefer to hang your clothes to dry, they also have lines available. The pool is a great spot to relax, heated but cool enough to avoid feeling like a bathtub. They offer different activities during the week and a Monday breakfast get-together. Memberships are required to stay here, but its definitely worth the cost. Nightly rates are based on monthly rates and include a separate charge for electric usage, which is metered at each site. Most sites are concrete with a patio area. All utilities work well. Its a quiet place to stay, and the friendly people make the experience even better.

Florida SKP Resort is a quiet and active Escapee membership park located in south-central Florida in orange grove and cattle country. The park offers a warm winter climate, wide palm-lined streets, and abundant green areas. Visitors can enjoy the year-round 84° outdoor pool and the friendship of fellow Escapees. The park is an active 55+ adult community where members participate by volunteering and being involved for the betterment of the Resort community. Sharing in the work as well as the fun, laughing, and playing with others means we share in the work as well as the fun.
