Devils Den Campground in Williston, FL offers beautiful natural swimming experiences, including scuba diving and snorkeling in the springs. The park has a laid-back atmosphere with friendly staff who are knowledgeable about the scuba diving experience. Some sites are smaller than others, but most are set on a sandy/dirt row with some trees in between. The water temperature is a bit chilly but it is something you get used to. The restrooms could benefit from more attention to cleaning, but the beauty of the Devils Den Spring makes up for it. The area is serene and offers a chance to observe nature, including horses, ducks, and other wildlife. The park has a restaurant and facilities to rent equipment for the diving experience, making it a great value. Note that it is not a party campground, so it is best to avoid visiting during holidays if you want to avoid loud campers. The gate closes at 5pm, however, the staff is accommodating and gave us our site number and the gate code for late arrivals.
