Winter Garden RV Resort is a sizeable RV park located close to downtown Winter Garden, FL. Despite the name, the park doesnt quite live up to its expectations. The park is mostly filled with annual and seasonal residents, and the sites, which are crowded and muddy, are difficult to navigate. The park itself is not well-lit at night, and the hookups can be on the wrong side for some sites, which may require prolonging hoses or electric cords. The staff is not very friendly or professional, and some have mentioned the many broken facilities, including no Wi-Fi, nonfunctional cable TV, broken sewer hookups, and no picnic benches or fire rings in some sites. While there is a bathroom, the facilities are reportedly quite dated and in need of renovations. One of the biggest problems with the park is the lack of enforcement of established rules, including appliances outside, dog fences, the age of trailers, etc. The presence of aggressive dogs that bark loudly only adds to the dismal feel of the place. There is a Walmart within five miles of the park, and several restaurants and shops are nearby, but the experience of patrons who have stayed here leaves a lot to be desired.
