Hammondell is a great campground located in a central location with beautiful Spanish moss covering the trees. It is mainly for permanent and snowbirds with about 40 spots for short term stays. The people are very friendly and the facilities are spacious and clean. The pool is well taken care of and the hook ups are typical. WiFi must be paid for with Tengo at a cheap rate and a strong steady signal. There are plenty of planned activities to keep everyone busy, such as line dance classes, daily water aerobics, monthly breakfast, ice cream social, and a strawberry shortcake gathering, live music on a Friday night and karaoke on Wednesday afternoon. The sites are somewhat narrow, but the management and friendly people make up for it.
