This campground is located on the border of US-17, providing a rustic and secluded atmosphere. The grounds are generally clean and the sites are fairly level, but the roads are barely paved and the sites are parked in thin grass or sand which tracks everywhere. The pool has been empty and unusable for at least 8 months, and the gym does not exist. The pavilion is a bug-filled storage room, unusable for anything. The natural environment is typical for Florida, but the water pressure is almost nonexistent and the water is unsafe to drink. The owner greets you when you walk into the office with a scowl on his face, and any encounter with either of the two managers/owners will start with them yelling at you, cussing, or just accusing you of violating a rule that you didnt know exist. The office is only open for 5 hours a day M-F, so dont expect to be able to receive packages. The landlord threatened to call animal control on my dogs, and expects traveling tenants to mow the grounds while he does nothing else to make the place nice or safe. The price is reasonable ($420.00) for the month and it is clean, however, the staff is not helpful and the campground is crawling with druggies.
