Clark Creek North is a beautiful campground located on Lake Allatoona in North Georgia. The campground offers back-in sites with 50A and water hookups, picnic tables, fire rings, and a spot for a tent. There is one bathhouse with a washer and dryer. The sites are all waterfront with a small wading area for swimming. The roads are paved and narrow, but there is plenty of overhead clearance. The campground is hilly, so most of the sites are at different levels, but all have a view of the lake. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the campground is secure with gates that close at 10:30 pm and open at 7am. There is no high-tech website to check availability and book, so youll need to call the Bartow county parks/rec department and get transferred to the campground. Be sure to bring your own lighting for parking and setting up since there are no streetlights in the camping areas. This is a great campground for overnighting along Interstate 75 or for a weekend getaway. Make sure to check if they allow docking your watercraft on the shore next to your campsite, and beware of the steep back-in spots.
