Holiday Harbor is a no frills campground located close to Lake Allatoona. The roads are rough and the sites are not level, making it difficult to park. The view of the lake is nice, and the resident ducks and Canadian geese add to the atmosphere. The dump station is not suitable for big rigs and there is no water to washout the hose. The staff at the front desk is not very helpful, and there is no after-hours check-in information provided. The sites are cramped and strewn with vehicles, trailers, and debris. The bath house is not very clean and does not have toilet paper two mornings in a row. The entrance/exit gate is difficult to maneuver due to all the boats and cars parked around it. The fire ring, picnic table, and grill are at the site. The staff can be hostile and there is no apology for mistakes made.

They are conveniently located just 5 minutes from I-75 and Downtown Acworth and are close to a wide range of local restaurants, boutique shops, and big box retailers.
