Ridge Road Campground is a great place to get away from it all and enjoy the outdoors. The campground is exceptionally well-maintained and spotless. It is located in a great location with tons of trees and most sites are right on the lake. The sites have water and electric hook-ups, with a central dump station, and a boat ramp located near the front office. There is also a laundry on site. The sites have a grill, prep table, picnic table, fire pit, a small retaining wall with a bench top for seating, and a pole with a hook for off ground storage or a hammock. Unfortunately, when it rains heavily, the only downfall with that site is, it fills up with water. The showers are old and tired, but have individual controlling faucets for water temp regulation. The campground is known for sugar ants, so come prepared with bug spray. Ridge Road Campground is a great representation of Georgia State Parks and is the perfect place for quiet relaxation, kayaking, fishing, or boating.
