This RV campground has a quiet neighborhood but the spaces are close together. Though there is no view of Sweetwater Creek, it is a five minute drive away. Visitors have the option to stay for multiple days, however the roads are in poor condition, so caution must be taken. The campground is convenient for visiting Atlanta, and is close to Sweetwater State Park for hiking. The sites are mostly grass with concrete areas and there is a bathhouse. The long term, working guests are friendly, however the roads are narrow and difficult to navigate with large RVs. The sewer connections stick up above the ground, and there are no waste bag dispensers or receptacles. Train whistles can be heard all night long.

Sweetwater Creek RV Reserve is a safe, family-oriented RV park located just 20 miles from Atlanta's many exciting attractions. The park-like setting features 96 level sites equipped with 50 or 30 AMP electricity, water, and sewage. Basic amenities include a common cottage with two handicapped accessible baths with showers, a laundry area, a modest lounge, free Internet, and available propane. The outdoor patio and picnic area are ideal for unwinding, dining, or socializing with other RV traveler residents. Guests can enjoy easy access to many of Atlanta's most popular attractions, including Six Flags Over Georgia, the College Football Hall of Fame, the World of Coca-Cola, the Georgia Aquarium, and Zoo Atlanta.
