Rock Creek Campground is the perfect spot for a peaceful and secluded camping experience. Located on the banks of Rock Creek, the campground offers great fishing and hiking opportunities, with the Appalachian and Benton MacKaye trails close by. The area is clean and simple to set up, with no reservations needed. Each site offers plenty of space for multiple tents, fire rings, picnic tables, and hard stand pit toilets. The campground is also close to the hatchery with access to streams all along the road to fish for trout and cook it over the campfire. Visitors can also take advantage of the bear proof trash cans and Coopers Creek Store for all their fishing needs. The campground is also great for families, with no forms of entertainment other than nature. Be prepared to boondock as there is no electricity, water, or dump site. The campground is small and usually busy, but the surrounding trees and distance from the road make it a quiet and relaxing spot.
