What others are saying about this campground
Blythe Island Regional Park Campground is a beautiful and serene campground located in Brunswick, Georgia. It offers a variety of activities for campers, including fishing docks with lifts and ramps, campgrounds, shelters, bait shack, lake with beach, and more. The campground is easy to check in to and the staff are friendly. There is plenty of privacy, as well as hiking trails, fishing, and boating. The park is also home to a variety of wildlife, including cute bunnies, raccoons, possums, and armadillos. The primitive camping area is full of Spanish moss and provides an otherworldly beauty. The park also offers full hookups, clean toilets and showers, laundry, a little beach, and lots of shade. It is conveniently located next to I-95 and about a 10 minute drive away from the campsite. There are two campgrounds, one for RVers and one for tent only, as well as a boat launch, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. There are also walking trails and a gated entrance that is locked after dark. The bath house is a little walk away, but it is clean and has lots of hot water. The park also offers a covered porch with big fans, corn hole area, playground, dump station, and trash. Mosquitoes can be a nuisance, but the views and fishing are fantastic. The park is close to Jekyll Island and its bike paths, making it a great place to stay.
