John Tanner Park is a beautiful park located in Carroll County, GA. The park offers a variety of amenities including a beach, boats, camping, fishing, group lodge, horseshoes, mini golf, pavilions, pioneer camping, playground, trails, and volleyball. Visitors can also rent mini golf and jon boats daily at the Visitor's Center from 9 am to 5 pm, and pedal boats are available during summer months on weekends only from 11 am to 5 pm. The park offers senior/disabled GA veteran rates for camping and annual passes only, and active military receives a free daily parking pass with military card. The park also offers an annual parking pass for only $40, and senior rates are available to those 62+ with ID. The camping fees range from $27 to $40 per night depending on the type of vehicle or site, and senior rates are available upon request for RV and tent camping. The group lodge fee is $600 per night and can accommodate up to 40 people. The park also has several pavilions and shelters available for rent.
