Cartersville KOA is a great spot for an overnight stop for big rigs and those passing through the north west area of Atlanta. The sites are close to the road, but far enough away to not be disturbed by traffic noise. The sites are tight to neighbors, but some are better for big rigs than others as they have a level spot then a pitch downhill. There are services such as ATT cell signal and wifi, as well as fast food, shopping and gas close by. The staff is friendly and courteous. The pool is open after Memorial Day Weekend and the rate is 41.20 for a night. Unfortunately, there is construction going on nearby which can cause excessive noise throughout the night. The sites are not level and cable TV is limited, but satellite reception is available. The campground has a playground, basketball court, walking path, two dog walk areas, a pavilion with grills, clean laundry with a television, and an entertainment room with a kitchen. It is a kid-friendly and safe place to stay, but the manager can be rude.
