This campground is a great spot for tent and small trailer camping, located on Lake Allatoona with a beautiful beach and friendly hosts. With only 51 sites, half of which are primitive, the campground is small and private, with level sites and convenient access to the restrooms and showers. There is only one bath house and one lane dump station, and the sites are short with a maximum intended length of 25 feet. The RV sites are suitable for vehicles up to 30 and there are a few premium sites that can accommodate larger rigs, although parking may be on a steep grade. The beach area is well maintained and the campground is usually quiet at night. Cell coverage is good for most providers. Gates lock at night and staff are available in case of emergency. There is no convenient trails in the general area, but there is a boat ramp in walking distance to the site. Poison ivy is present, so be aware.
