Mountain City Campground is a small, quiet and seniors-only campground located just off of Highway 441 in the north Georgia mountains. It is within a short driving distance of multiple scenic destinations and sites, making it a great location for many activities. The campground is well-maintained and the utilities are properly located and in good condition. The sites are gravel and spacious, with plenty of room for an RV, car and tow dolly. The campground also features a creek running through it, with 13 sites backing up to it. Cable TV and WiFi are available, though it can be problematic when the campground is full. The owners are friendly and helpful, and they offer breakfast and low country boil for additional costs. The campground gates close early and open late, but there is a small bridge for vehicles that can be accessed most of the time. The rate shown is the Passport America rate, which includes taxes.
